And Seattle

Pikes Place market rules.

Neah Bay reprise

Bryan. Bryan and Dad. Family rules.

Neah Bay

Tide pools and hikes. I took these a few years ago, and I really like them. I was really into bright colors and texture! Look at them big. Nature rules.

Thoughts

Sandy Shields. She is a very good old friend. I took this picture when I was 16 or 17.

It's one of my favorite kinds of afternoons. I'm alone, slightly hungover, and the view from my apartment's living room window is snowy and the road isn't so busy. The lamp has a nice soft yellow light and I'm listening to Édith Piaf. I'm thinking about painting -- not particularily because I have something in mind to paint, but because I believe a tripod easel with a work in progress on it would look pretty nice in my apartment. By the window, next to the couch, by the wooden chair.

Let me show you some sketches

Abandoned Project #1: Project Whoa

A series of pictures taken from weird angles to make things look more chaotic than they are.

Abandoned Project #2: Still lifes from my current life

It seems I always see the same things.

It's currently the middle of January. This is the time that the seasonal affect disorder sets in. For me. I'm glad it hasn't taken the holidays.

Pearl Girl

Best feelings:

Bellagio poker chips

In other news:
Yogurt topped with pomegranate granola and honey is a beautiful natural combination of gold and ruby.
